Why me?

In 2018 I went through a traumatic bereavement, I've lived through the ensuing bombardment of mental and physical health conditions. The physical response to trauma is often over-looked, our bodies turn into a shield to hold the emotions in and keep the realities of loss out. This manifests in pain (including TMJ, vertigo, back spasms, headaches) reduced mobility, shallow breathing, insomnia; all of which perpetuate the mental health concerns you may be experiencing which override the physical feelings.

Massage therapy has helped me understand why we react the way we do and how we can dramatically improve our mental state through our physical health. It works and I love it!

I'm a qualified level 4 sports and deep tissue massage therapist, FREC3 MIRA qualified, reiki level 2, kinesiology taping qualified, lymphatic drainage qualification and fully insured through Balens.

Find space

It's so rare that we are able to have time with absolutely zero distractions. Getting a massage is one of those occasions.

The upward and downward spiralling of mental and physical health are so intertwined that one can directly trigger a change in the other. Soft tissue therapy can release physical 'stuckness', plus release endorphins, dopamine and increase the availability of serotonin, providing the motivation to get outside and improve mental health, thereby improving physical health, which improves mental health....

It's a privilege to contribute to someone's healing, we don't need to do everything on our own
